Joseph Saluzzi is partner, co-founder and head of Equity Market Structure Research and co-head of Equity Trading.  He is also the co-author of Broken Markets -- How High Frequency Trading and Predatory Practices on Wall Street are Destroying Investor Confidence.

Mr. Saluzzi is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on issues involving market access, algorithmic trading and other sell- and buy-side concerns. He has provided expert commentary for media outlets such as CBS’s 60 Minutes, BBC Radio, Bloomberg Television & Radio, CNBC, Fox Business, BNN, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Reuters, Associated Press, Los Angeles Times and Bloomberg News. Mr. Saluzzi also has authored articles for Traders Magazine, Dow Jones and Journal of Investment Compliance. He has provided expertise to the House Financial Services Committee, FINRA, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Prior to Themis, Mr. Saluzzi headed the team responsible for equity sales and trading for major institutional accounts at Instinet Corporation for more than 9 years.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an MBA in Finance and received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from New York University.

Scott Wilson partner and co-head of Equity Trading. 

Mr. Wilson joined Themis in 2011 bringing 25 years of experience in position trading (Lehman Brothers, Needham), program trading, and algorithm development/electronic trading (OptiMark, Piper Jaffray).  At Themis, he combines market, market structure and technology skills with attention to detail to provide value-added execution services to clients.  Prior to Wall Street, Scott worked in technology (Morgan Stanley) and management consulting (McKinsey).  Scott has an engineering degree (Computer Science/Electrical Engineering) from the University of Connecticut.

Paul Zajac is partner and co-founder.  Mr. Zajac focuses on the business and regulatory management of Themis' operations.

Prior to Themis, Mr. Zajac worked at First Union Securities for five years as a fixed income portfolio manager and structured finance investment banker, after having started his career in finance in 1990 as a corporate banker. Previously, Mr. Zajac was an engineer working for the US Navy, specializing in developing technology for submarines. Mr. Zajac received an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
